Can you put a Bouncy Castle on an outdoor hard surface?
Unfortunately, we are unable to put any of our inflatable bouncy castles onto a hard surface. This is down to not being able to secure the castle safely.
We get asked by many of our customers about setting up on tarmac, gravel or patio slabs. Bounceroos hate to say no to our clients, but when it comes down to health and safety there really is no option. We take safety very seriously at Bounceroos!
Our team are trained to very high standards and we know it just isn't safe to place any inflatable on a hard surface outdoors.
WHY?....This is because the inflatables cannot be secured correctly. - In order to secure all of the anchor points in the correct manner you would need 164 kgms of weight on each point! So, for a normal children's 12ft x 12ft bouncy castle that has 6 anchor point, you would need:
164kg x 6 = 984 kg !

Our delivery vans and teams of staff are big and strong but we could never carry 1 tonne of weight for each castle delivery could you? No, but…
This is why our friendly booking team will always ask if you have grass. Natural green grass (not astro turf/ artificial grass) is great for bouncy castles! We can put our inflatables safely and securely onto a natural grassed surface secured with huge tent pegs which is health and safety friendly too.
Imagine a beautiful summers day with an outdoor birthday party in the garden. BBQ at the ready, drinks on tap and friends laughing and joking with you enjoying the summer sun. How wonderful would your freshly cut lawn look with a Bounceroos bouncy castle ready and waiting to entertain your party guests!
