How to arrange a kids birthday party:

Here are a few handy hints to help you arrange your party!

1, Decide on a date and time for your party. (Consider what time would be best for your party the majority of parties run for approx. 1 ½ - 2 hours this is ample time for playing and eating – if you have younger guests it may be best to have a morning party when they are fresh and wide awake, try to avoid afternoon nap times, don’t be too late in the day either when they become over tired as this will not be fun for anyone!)

2, Contact & hire your venue. Wondering where you nearest venue is? No problem, we have listed many venues on the website for you to check out. (Book your venue this way you know you have a place for your party. If you are thinking of having a bouncy castle as your party entertainment then please double check that the venue will allow this – some don’t, also check the height of the hall so you know your chosen bouncy castle will fit on the day!

3, Party Entertainment. How are you going to entertain all of the party guests? Check out the Bounceroos Events website there are lots of items to choose from! The birthday girl/boy may have a favourite character - our themed bouncy castles will go down a treat, or why not give the guests an extra whoosh with a bounce n slide. Our money saving packages that include bouncy castles, Soft play, ball pools and our popular Didi car ride ons are a great option if you are arranging a toddler party, lots of building with coloured shapes and splashing in our ball pools is wonderful fun! Our packages are a great way to keep everyone entertained and offer great variety!

4, Send out invites. Make sure you send out your invites in good time, people are busy especially parents! Ensure you give all friends and family enough warning about your party date

5, Arrange food, birthday cake and party bags. Ok, so we are nearly done just don’t forget the cake which can either be sourced from a bakery or supermarket quite easily, food – sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, fruit & squash all go down well, alternatively if you arranging caterers then give them ample notice of your requirements! Finally party bags – sweety bags are always popular and these are very easy to make at home by buying small bags and ribbon, filling with a variety of sweets – they look pretty good too.

So, you have now just planned your party! Well done, with our 5 handy hints broken down it doesn’t seem like an unmanageable task. I can remember feeling very stressed at the thought of arranging my child's birthday party. The key is to book things in advance and from there everything will run like clock work!
